PROFOUND! The TRUE Meaning of the Words of Jesus

I feel extremely fortunate to have read this spiritual gift. Emmet Fox, although no longer physically alive, brings humanity one of the most profound books I have ever read on the true meaning of what Jesus taught. The Sermon on the Mount is a SPIRITUAL classic, that I would (and do) recommend to anyone, no matter what your religion or doctrine may be, because the genuine spiritual meaning (so beautifully explained in this exceptional text) of what Jesus was trying to convey to humanity, will REALLY open your eyes, and your heart to the laws of this universe, and there is no religion or dogma attached
whatsoever.

This is the kind of book, at least for me, where no matter HOW much I "thought" I knew, shows me once again, how much more there is to understand.

To fully live the words in this book, in all of your thoughts, words, motives and deeds will DIFINITELY bring you a life of profound inner peace, and this will be a beacon for world peace.

I wish every world leader could read this book. It is the metaphysical and immutable laws of the universe, the true "answers" to what Jesus was teaching, and it is given in modern language, while the book is fascinating and an exceptional read. There are few books that I re-read, this will be one of them, that is for sure!

I genuinely beleive that the words in this book, if taken and applied, can "save" humanity from every peril currently known to humankind. That is a lot to say, however, I wholeheartedly beleive this to be true.

If I could buy this book for everyone on Earth, I would. Get it, read it, and see if it makes a difference in your life. I would venture to say that it will, far beyone what you might beleive. It did for me, and I am deeply grateful to Emmet Fox whose Light lives on, and continues to make such a difference.

See the Sermon on the Mount in a whole new light

Emmet Fox's classic THE SERMON ON THE MOUNT is just that, a spiritual, Christian classic. When you read it you will want to read and reread it. I myself am reading it for the third time, having started it again immediately upon finishing it for the second time. In it you will find practical teaching and the 5th, 6th and 7th chapters of Matthew you will understand like never before.

When you do read it, make sure your mind is open. Your thinking will be challenged. You may be shocked or angry. You may find longheld beliefs being challenged, as I noticed when I was reading some of the other reviews. I noticed at least one review saying that Emmet Fox did not talk about God's grace, when, in one chapter of the book, Fox plainly does talk about God's grace. He talks about Jesus Christ as the only way out of karma. By karma I don't mean reincarnation; I simply mean "What you sow, so shall you reap." But through Christ, you can be redeemed and set free.

Or, perhaps, like me, you may find yourself with the answers to your questions. I myself am now applying its teachings in my own life and the results are starting to astound me. And to some of you other reviewers, Fox is not saying that by thinking you can turn a tree's leaves blue or turn the sun into a cool green, for example. Fox is simply expounding on the Biblical proverb, "As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he." You say, you must face reality. True, true, you must be realistic, but are you positive and realistic, or are you negative and realistic? Is the glass half full or half empty? Think about it.

If you're fundamentalist or interpret the Scriptures too literally, this book is not for you. But, as Fox himself says, his book is not mean to evade a difficult passage of Scripture. If you read it with an open mind you may find yourself having what he calls the Spiritual Key. St. Paul wrote, "The letter killeth, but the Spirit giveth life."

A little book about success and correct way of praying

This is the most wonderful interpretation of the Sermon on the Mount I have yet found. I have read this small book many years ago, but its words have become engraved on my mind and in my heart and it has had a profound impact upon my life.

It deals with spiritual truths, which many people recite through prayer daily, but don't give it much thought. This little book points out in a very clear way, all the elements of not only praying in a way that the prayers are answered, but of creating a successful life - and developing attitude, character and consciousness that brings about that success.

This book has in its own way changed the way I looked upon my relationship with God and my relationship with abundance and one's "daily bread". It has also kept me aware that if one desires to open the way, before the person even begins to pray, the person first needs to cleanse his mind and heart, and forgive anyone toward whom he holds any form of unforgiveness (including himself).
